Operational Care

Hand wash the elbow accessory before first use and daily thereafter using mild soap and warm water. Rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry completely before use.
This elbow requires a separate exhalation device to vent exhaled air properly.
When attaching an exhalation device, therapy pressure levels may need to be adjusted to compensate for the increased intentional leak that occurs. Always consult with a qualified clinician or respiratory therapist before making adjustments.
