Warranty

The manufacturer warrants the unit to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and operation for a period of two (2) years from the date of purchase. This warranty does not cover the accessories. Any defective part(s) will be repaired or replaced at the manufacturer's option if the unit has not been tampered with or used improperly during that period.
This warranty does not cover damage caused by accident, misuse, abuse, alteration, water ingress, or other defects not related to material or workmanship, and is not extended to the cost of labour incurred in repairing or replacing defective part(s).
To initiate a warranty claim, you can contact us at order-support@respmart.com with "WARRANTY CLAIM" in the subject line. We may reach out to verify the claim before issuing a replacement or return approval.
For approved warranty claims, we’ll take care of the shipping cost to send your replacement or repaired product. We kindly ask that you cover the cost of sending the original product back to us for inspection and verification.

Operational Care

Place the device on a stable and horizontal surface when operating. Make sure the air vent openings are not obstructed; never place the unit on a soft surface, such as a bed or couch, where the air opening may be blocked
Only use compatible parts and seek an authorised service centre for maintenance needs. Never open the device; there are no serviceable parts within the unit.
Cleaning the Device
To avoid electrical shock, turn off and disconnect the device before cleaning it with a damp cloth and mild household cleaner. DO NOT immerse the device in any fluids.
Rinse the reusable pollen filter every two weeks and replace it every six (6) months.
Wash the humidifier and air tubing in warm water using mild detergent. DO NOT wash in a dishwasher or washing machine.
Rinse the humidifier and air tubing thoroughly and allow to dry out of direct sunlight and/or heat.
Wipe the exterior of the device with a dry cloth.

DO NOT install a wet filter into the device. You must ensure sufficient drying time for the filter.

FAQs

Q: How do I adjust the comfort features – humidity and ramp time – on my AirSense 10?

A: Your AirSense 10 machine has been set up for your needs by your medical equipment supplier – the CPAP store where you picked up your equipment. But, understandably, you may want to make small adjustments based on your comfort needs. Here are some tips on how to adjust the comfort settings.

On your AirSense 10 machine, rotate the dial to highlight My Options and press the dial to see your current settings. From here, you can personalise your options.

Humidity Level

The humidifier moistens the air and is designed to make your therapy more comfortable. With the Climate Control enhanced Auto setting, both temperature and humidity are automatically preset at levels designed for maximum comfort; all you have to do is plug it in and press Start.

You can also manually set the Humidity Level to Off or between 1 and 8, where 1 is the lowest humidity setting and 8 is the highest humidity setting. (Note: if you’re using a ClimateLineAir™ heated tube, you will need to turn the Climate Control setting on your device from “Auto” to “Manual” to access the humidity level setting.)

If you’re getting a dry nose or mouth, turn up the humidity.

If you’re getting any moisture in your mask, turn down the humidity.

How to adjust humidity:

  1. In My Options, turn the dial to highlight Humidity Level and then press the dial.
  2. Turn the dial to adjust the humidity level and press the dial to save the change.

Ramp Time

Ramp Time is designed to make the beginning of therapy more comfortable and is the period during which the airflow pressure increases from a low start pressure to your prescribed treatment pressure. You can set your Ramp Time to Off, from 5 to 45 minutes.

How to adjust Ramp Time:

  1. In My Options, turn the dial to highlight Ramp Time and then press the dial.
  2. Turn the dial to adjust the ramp time to your preferred setting and press the dial to save the change.

Q: How do I clean my CPAP machine, and how often?

You should clean your machine weekly.

How to clean your AirSense machine

Time it takes: 5 minutes

Supplies you’ll need to clean your machine:

  1. Sink or tub
  2. Warm, drinking quality water (86°F / 30°C)
  3. Dish soap
  4. Clean towel

Weekly step-by-step cleaning tips:

Unplug the machine. Wash the water tub and air tubing in warm water using mild detergent. Do not wash in a dishwasher or washing machine.

Rinse the water tub and air tubing thoroughly and allow to dry out of direct sunlight and/or heat.

Wipe the exterior of the device with a dry cloth or towel.

Q: Can I use an ozone device to clean my ResMed machine?

ResMed has observed that prolonged and repeated use of an ozone device4 may eventually cause internal damage to a ResMed machine, leading to an increase in motor noise. The ResMed limited warranty excludes damage to ResMed machines caused by the use of ozone devices.

Q: Which ResMed masks are compatible with AirSense 10?

A: While ResMed masks are designed to be compatible with most ResMed machines, it is best to confirm compatibility for your specific mask to determine the correct mask setting for your machine.
