ResMed Lumis 150 VPAP ST is a noninvasive ventilator specifically designed for non-dependent patients with obstructive or restrictive respiratory conditions. ResMed's unique volume-assurance mode, iVAPS (intelligent Volume-Assured Pressure Support), makes personalised ventilation easy by maintaining target alveolar ventilation to suit each patient's changing needs. Plus, with an intelligent Backup Rate (iBR) and the option for AutoEPAP, iVAPS continuously monitors ventilation and the upper airway.
Key Features
iVAPS learns each patient’s unique alveolar ventilation, sets appropriate targets, then provides smooth pressure support to suit.
Intelligent Backup Rate (iBR) gives patients the maximum opportunity to trigger the ventilator. Staying out of the way until needed, iBR adds backup breaths to comfortably bring patients back to target. Available in iVAPS and ST modes.

A: Place the device on a firm, flat surface within easy reach of where you will use it and at a level lower than your sleeping position.
Q: Can I put the system in checked baggage when travelling?
A: No, the carrying case is designed for carry-on luggage only. It will not protect the system if it is put through checked baggage.
Q: Can I travel with my ResMed Lumis 150 VPAP ST device?
A: Yes, you can travel with your Lumis device. Use the provided travel bag to protect it from damage. Empty the humidifier chamber and pack it separately. A: The device is safe to be transported and used in flight. There is a note on the bottom of the device stating that it is medical equipment and suitable for airline use. Bringing the manual may also help security personnel understand the Lumis 150 VPAP ST device. Click here to download the manufacturer's flight safety declaration.
When using the device on a plane, turn on the Airplane Mode and make sure the humidifier is completely empty and inserted into your device. The device will not work without a humidifier inserted.
Q: What do I need to know about power compatibility when travelling to a different country?
A: If you're travelling to a country with a different line voltage, you may need a different power cord or an international plug adaptor. Contact your home care provider for more information.
